Link added to message in Facebook messenger

Hi, not sure if this is the best place to ask so please redirect me if not. Just been chatting with my mum over messenger and a link in Cyrillic text was added to one of her messages without her doing anything. I can’t find any information about this from a Google search. Anyone know what’s going on here?
