Work is giving me a gaming pc

The specs look half decent and it’s been in a cupboard unplugged for so long when I booted it in the office, it was fully reset, asking for language etc.

It also doesn’t look like it as a WiFi card in it, as it only asked for an Ethernet connection.

It’s either coming with me or getting recycled since it’s too big for anyone to realistically use, it just needs a graphics card.

Would you all recommend taking it or letting it get scrapped? I doubt there’s any software on it but I’d buy a new hard drive while I’m getting a graphics card, and it doesn’t look like it has an asset sticker on it, so surely it can’t be tracked? Want to make sure I’m not getting in trouble down the line, despite the director of IT letting me take it?

Edit: specs are;

Motherboard - Tuf H310M-Plus

Ram - 2 sticks of Corsair DDR4 4gb

Intel i3 8th gen

Would be looking to upgrade and use for budget/indie PC titles
