Rise of the Tomb Raider - excessive game freezing in 4K mode

Edit / update : Finally saw this running flawlessly on a friends PS4 PRO. Tried it on mine a few times, had it lock up every time at different time intervals. So I have contacted SONY and started a warranty replacement via web chat. Waiting on them to send me the box to send back my console now. Not too painful because every other game works fine so just playing other stuff while waiting.

I also noticed that when it was running flawlessly on my friends PRO, his systems fan didn't rev up nearly as high as mine which revs really high on any pro game (FFXV, RE7, etc...) Makes me more and more believe that we have a bad batch of PRO systems out there.

I was having a problem with Diablo III similar on the pro but since they patched it no issues.

All my other games work great. (FFXV, RE7, etc...)

Rise of the Top Raider has frozen every single time I have played it. I haven't been able to make it thru an entire chapter or stage without a game crashing freeze that takes the PS4 PSO 30-60 seconds to get out of, or one time it stopped sending video output and had to be hard reset.

Anyone see having this issue?

I can load it from the last checkpoint sure - but its freezing wayyy to much.
