K-Value clarification

Hey guys, I recently switched to orca slicer and wonder what k-value takes place in my print,the one i Set in the filament profile or the one in the device tab. Iam very confused even on how to set up the k-value in the device tab. I hope anyone can clarify that for me. Thanks in advance.
