Why Netflix, Disney etc

I might sound a bit docile asking this but why is it that I can stream Netflix, Disney etc for 24 hours a day with maybe zero stutters, no bugs etc but msfs 2024 struggles. Is it because it's a sim, a computer program? There must be some of you Einsteins out there that can answer. I've been pondering about it from day one of Msfs 2024. Cheers.
