Why is it that metalheads have become so terrible?

I am new here! I am asking for suggestions constantly and I am made fun of for what music I have on my list, why can’t you guys just give me some fucking recs? I am new to the metal scene but yall are acting like bullies and not helping out the new comers to this style of music! Please instead of making fun of one another for whatever reason it is, let’s stick together older and newer people

I’m sure some people here feel like outcasts when this type of stuff should feel like home to us and like a safe place!
