Best way to buy a VR headset currently?

I first looked into buying a quest right as the quest 2 started going out of stock everywhere and have recently started looking back into it. I don't exactly want to spend 500 dollars on the quest 3, especially knowing the 3s is coming soon, but I want to know if it's worth buying used/refurbished or even a used quest 2. For reference, i'm not big into triple a games that really need the q3s better performance but I would eventually like to play the new arkham vr game
