Amuseable Diamond Ring authenticity?

I bought the diamond ring secondhand and it has the old green amuseables tag, I've seen both the old and new amuseables tags on them from resellers. The old tag ones tend to have shorter fur on them and the new tags have longer fur slightly covering the eyes. Did they just do two production runs, does anyone know? Thanks!
