Ghost notifications

Hello, I just joined the group hoping someone could help me with this…

I have two IG accounts, and one of them keeps showing notifications that are not there. When I log in my main account there is a red dot at the bottom right where the little thumbnail of my profile picture is, indicating that my second account has new notifications. When I go to my second account to check, there is nothing there. And the notifications continue to increase. This is really problematic because that account is my author’s account where I sell my book. I might have possible buyers trying to contact me and I can’t see their interaction. I have checked my activity, and the comments I had made in the past in other accounts, and deleted the ones that could be receiving more interactions, but nothing seems to stop the ghost notifications. I have also checked the Facebook liked account, and there’s nothing there either. The app is up to date and my phone as well.

What do I do, please?
