Fishing Spots?

Hi all! My husband and I just moved to Indiana at the end of March! We live about an hour north of Indy and love it so far, it’s just flat lol We don’t really know anyone up here, so we don’t really have recommendations for anything. My husband loves fishing! He’s been feeling really down recently since it’s quite literally just us, hours away from everyone we know. I really want to take him out on Saturday as a surprise picnic/fishing trip but have no idea where to take him. He gets excited to catch just about anything, so there’s no specific type of fish in mind. Where would be the best place to go within an hour or so radius of the Kokomo area? Thanks in advance!
