Scout Rogue VS Chief

I’m sure this has been asked a million times but forgive me, I’m new here to Reddit. I’m moving to Maryland in a few months and I’m going to pick up either one of these models. After 4 years of Maryland I plan on moving back home to Phoenix AZ. From what I’ve been able to gather, it’s that the rogue would be better for city riding and in Phx would probably be better because of the liquid cooling. I am bigger (270 but currently working on dropping) so I was kinda thinking the chief would be a better option. Plus I would like to get into longer riding, but on my first bike I really only used it for city. So maybe I’m not the distance rider I’m thinking I want to be. The only thing is I worry about the air cooled in Phoenix city heat. I saw plenty of air cool bikes there so it must not be that big of problem. The first/last bike I owned was a Honda shadow VLX 600. So the Rogue seems like a great step up and cheaper than the chief. But the chief seems like a better long term bike. Idk any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
