Softail heating and stopping: Any solution

Hi fellow riders,

This might be a known issue, and I'm unsure if there's a solution that can offer some relief (or even a quick fix). Often, I have to ride through the heart of the city, where traffic is heavy, and almost 90% of the time, my 2015 Fat Boy 103 overheats and stalls.

I don’t experience this issue on longer highway rides (200+ miles).

I'm curious to know if any of you have found ways to lessen the impact of this problem.
