I Just Got Back from the Concert Tour in Theaters, Here are my Thoughts.

The concert in theaters was pretty great to keep it short. The audio mixing the team behind this did a FANTASTIC job at it as I was in a theater that had a really good sound system (Harkins Theaters) and the girls had a very clear sound in their vocals as well as the music being nice and loud but not overbearing. The whole performance is just from their tour debut at Seoul and once one song is done, it immediately moves onto the next one almost instantly. There is only a few short sections where you hear the members talk about performing their tour debut and their thoughts to their fans which is the only thing that you'll hear that'll be unique for the movie experience. They do have subtitles on anytime the members start talking but there wont be any during the actual song performances and also there is no showing of the set list for the performance so if you don't know a song that is currently playing or transitioned into, you wont probably know its title if you just recently got into the group.

The biggest negative is that the number cuts in the movie are ridiculous (makes me feel like I'm re-watching Bohemian Rhapsody almost) as members will perform one move and then it instantly cuts to another angle. The biggest example of this is when Yugi does her kick in 'My Bag' during her solo section where the camera focuses on her and once her kick begins and she gets it up high, the camera immediately cuts to another angle on her as if the kick never even happened in the first place, kinda bizarre. I kinda wish we got to see also more reactions up close of the audience (there's a few) instead of mainly crowd shots of them. I also wish we got more behind the scenes stuff on how the members and others designed the stages, screen visuals, outfit choices, etc.

Overall it was a fine experience, there were only 2 other people in the theater with me as this was only on a Wednesday night at 7 pm. I have a feeling they may put this on streaming later which I think would be a good move.

EDIT: Miyeon is a bias wrecker in this! Her vocals in this are crazy good!
