Anyone else have a Frenchie who was not "up to breeding standards"

My girl had a rough past, she was cast out by the people who bred her. She was thrown out to a pig pen until they could dump her, luckily a family member of the breeder took her to save her from that fate and we ended up adopting her. When we got her she was almost emaciated, all ribs, hip bones and spine on full display, she's gained 5 lbs from regular feedings and a high protein diet! I'm so glad. She was lethargic and would stumble when walking around our property. She wouldn't run or play, and now she's energetic and playful! I can't believe how people treat "undesirable" dogs when breeding. Some special things about her are her ears are further apart than most, her skin is sensitive and I am finally getting bald spots all over her to regrow, and her ribs are more "flared" or prominent than "desired" rather than having a tapered/seamless waist.
