[Memento] Leonard won't keep killing after the events of the film. He's got his photo. He's done.
People keep telling me the ending of Memento is supposed to be ambiguous. It doesn't seem all that ambiguous to me. Leonard killed Teddy and took a picture. His final John G is dead. He's got the proof.
There's a chance he'll destroy the photo so he can keep his puzzle going, but with literally no direction from Teddy, I think it's just as likely he'd become lost and confused and incompetent. He won't be able to pick new targets. I think it's just as likely he'll get a new tattoo saying "John G is dead. Good job bro. Have a beer. You earned it."
Either way, it's unlikely he'll keep killing, which seems to be how a lot of people interpret that ending.
