Lead Gen Differences Across Niches
Hey all,
I’ve been running Facebook lead gen campaigns for home improvement businesses for a year now, consistently generating about 100 surveyed leads per month at an average CPL of $5. Recently, I expanded into the online education space, and with a similar advertising approach, I’m seeing an average CPL of just $2—something I’ve never experienced before!
That said, the lead nurturing process seems quite different between these two industries. In home improvement, most leads who convert book appointments quickly after the initial contact. However, in online education, it’s taking longer for fewer leads to convert, and I’m not sure if this is due to differences in buyer behavior or if I need to adjust my approach.
For anyone who has experience with both industries, are there specific tweaks you make to your Facebook Ads strategy to cater to different industries? Is it better to focus on lead volume and nurture longer in this case, or adjust targeting/ad copy to focus on higher intent from the start?
