Help me choose (or custom?)

We went window shopping for a jeweller today and I fell in love with these two rings!! I was not expecting this - please excuse my cold winter eczema hands!

First the custom-built dream ring in my mind: art deco vibe!!!!! Emerald cut salt and pepper diamond (light grey), somewhere around the 2.5-3ct range, chunky bezel setting (idk how to describe when it’s not cathedral, it goes down to the ring) with baguettes on either side. Yellow gold.

Pic 1: 2.97 ct pear-cut tourmaline with . 30 round labs, chunky bezel. 22k yellow gold.

Pic 2: 2.94 ct emerald cut natural unheated purple sapphire, .30ct lab baguettes, cathedral bezel. 14k yellow gold.

Both rings are perfectly my size. They both have 50% of my dream ring in them, and I 100% love both!

Both price points sit at my “sweet spot” in my mind, my partner is comfortable spending more (as would be the case with custom). I’m honestly not sure all the extra custom fees are worth it???
