always advocate for yourself because this happened to me

i have been from doctor to doctor for the past few years and i’m only 21. i complained of appendix pain, bladder pain and painful bowel movements. finally i met a wonderful endometriosis excision specialist who believed me and agreed to do a lap. just had my lap yesterday and wow! i have stage 1 endo which he excised but he also removed my appendix because it was “abnormal” as in endometriosis was killing it or i had an infection. he also discovered that my colon was completely strapped to my abdominal wall with adhesions which he thinks is congenital but still freed my colon from the adhesions. PLEASE don’t give up. no one believed me until i met dr barron at charlottesville center for advanced gynecology. i could’ve had my appendix rupture at any moment.
