Strange and fun ideas for commanders outside the norm

I am in the process of building a [[Rigo, Streetwise Mentor]] deck and came up with the idea to make him have a Ninjutsu subtheme. While there aren't many ninjutsu creatures in Bant (here they are:https://scryfall.com/search?q=ci%3Abant+keyword%3Aninjutsu&unique=cards&as=grid&order=name. The vast majority of them are blue), I think it could make for a fun and novel list.

What are your thoughts, and what are some weird/unusual/novel ideas you came up with for commanders? Did they work? Were they fun?
