Is the new update safe for MODs?

I recently started playing Dragon's Dogma 2 on the PC, and since I had already completed it I had decided to install mods, after 4 days, on January 29,today, the update came out. I stopped the download with the fear that it doesn't make the mods work anymore. Do you guys know anything about it, should I make the download?
