My prediction for the release date

As we all know, Toby’s bug tester team has just recently started working on the console versions ,and chapter 3+4 are in the very final step of development before a release date can be announced. From the info we were given from the newsletters and status updates, bug testing for each individual chapter takes ~1 month, but since they’re testing each chapter all at once and all the bug fixes from the pc version should hopefully carry over, the bug testing for console seems like it will be done sooner rather than later. However it should be noted that the port to console might have created new bugs, if there’s console exclusive content that needs to be tested, each console’s unique hardware needs to be accounted for, and special requirements needing to be met (ie PlayStation requiring trophies) will definitely add some time back onto it, so let’s just say it’ll take them ~a month and a half to finish.

If that’s the case, that means that bug testing will be 100% complete halfway into March, around the same time that the 2025 Spring Newsletter should come out. And this leads nicely into my prediction. I am confident that we will get a pc trailer and release date in the March newsletter and then another trailer for the switch in the upcoming Nintendo Direct in April.

In fact, I am SO confident, I have an exact release date in mind…
