Any problems?

My homebuilder started on my deck. Should I be concerned?

The house is on a slab and the deck is not connected to the slab. There are posts around three sides of the deck, but no posts across the span next to the slab. (Will it sag?)

The beams are sitting in the dirt in most cases. There is also standing water under the deck - it last rained four days ago - and I suspect the water extends where they dug out beneath the slab.

What should I ask them to change or do differently?
