Is life over after Crohn’s?

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here. Long story short, back in the summer, I got colitis. I had a colonoscopy. At the time, doctors thought it was caused from NSAIDS or an irritable bowel disease specifically Crohn’s.

Throughout some weeks, I was good. Then I got too comfortable and ate trigger foods like beans or pizza and immediately went into a flare with my worst one being just recently.

I get a lot of joint pain, chest pain, stomach and back pain with no specific areas of pain. It’s almost as if it moves along the GI tract.

I’m scheduled to get an endoscopy next month and my guess is it could be Crohn’s.

If it is, can you guys tell me my life won’t be over? I know this disease is painful and all the stuff that comes with it as I too share the symptoms but I want to hear positive stories. I’m only 23 so I hope to still graduate higher education, get married, travel, make memories.
