Raiding help

So i’m new to conan exiles and i need some advice on raiding. I’ve been using explosive jars first off, are those the most efficient raiding tool or is there something better. Also when i use the explosive jar on a locked box it doesn’t drop anything. It just breaks it and that’s it. Am i doing something wrong or is there just nothing in the box? I am on PS5. Thanks!
