Lifter tick

My 94 decided to start acting the fool with what I at first thought was an exhaust leak, but it got a little worse today and i can pinpoint the noise to the under the front of the valve cover. It still runs as fine as 94 with 260k miles on it can aside from the annoying tick.

I’m seeing that in order to fix this it requires taking the valve cover and head off.

Any other possible fixes that worked for any of you? I’m seeing marvel mystery oil being thrown around a lot in addition to seafoam.
