Anyone ever added classes during late registration? Also anyone ever dropped a class after the second week?

I'm tempted to drop one class, and possibly replace it, but I never went though the process. Also when I tried looking up adding classes late, I was told I would likely be rejected. Anyone ever went through either dropping or adding late
