Are 2-Person Minimums Normal?

I’m moving in a couple of weeks and the only spots to bowl within 20 minutes of me are a local alley and a Bowlero. The local alley has a 2-person minimum at all times and I was wondering if this was normal. I was hoping to get out there in the mornings on my days off but guess I’ll be going to Bowlero.
