How to make pandesal less dense

Hi guys! It's my 1st time baking pandesal. I live in a very cold country so I noticed na ang hirap magpaalsa ng dough. The ingredients I followed are

3 cups plain flour ¼ cup sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk - lukewarm 1 egg 2 tablespoon butter - melted (or margarine) 1 ½ teaspoon instant dry yeast - see Note 2 ¼ cup breadcrumbs

Instant naman ung yeast na ginamit ko. I used a stand mixer to knead the dough. Rested it after then ang tagal umalsa. The one on the picture is 1 day after 😂 so far better ung size and color nya vs batch 1 (1hr post kneading) and batch 2 (2-3hrs) kaso un nga dense ung loob 🥲 any tips po on how I can improve it?
