Anyone take them back after the Hoover and regret it?

My xpwbpd is really spilling all the words with this Hoover but I’m scared to believe any of them. Please tell me all of your horror stories of believing the Hoover and getting burned again. (I feel like Charlie Brown staring at Peppermint Patty’s football, half knowing she’ll pull it away but also hoping that this time she won’t.)
