Received a steroid ear-spray for potential outer ear infection.
Male, 26 years old, 80kg 5ft10
Went to walk in center today after having a blocked ear that i've been suffering for about three days. Having looked at both ears he noticed slight irritation in my right ear.
However, I explained to the doctor that since the 1st of Feb i've been suffering from localized headaches and one migraine (top right side of my head going down). These headaches aren't painful but feel like consistent pressure, I only went to A&E because the ear infection was painful. I dont suffer from head aches or migraines at all really so having a constant one for 10 days has me concerned. I've since discovered from just feeling around my right head the above my ear leading up to my scalp it's WAY more ridged than my left side. Whilst the steroid and ibuprofen has already provided some relief to my ear, my head still aches (again, dull localized ache more like pressure than anything along where the ridge is), even the ibuprofen doesn't seem to have an affect on it. I told my doctor that the headaches/migraine happened before I felt any ear pain/pressure so I don't understand how an ear infection could be the cause of the head pain however he said it's normal.
Perhaps i'm being a hypochondriac because I've fond this rigidness where the pain/pressure is. In terms of neurological impact: none that i've noticed, some right eye strain perhaps, no fever or speech or vertigo...
