AITA for telling my long distance girlfriend that her and my cat are worth the same

I have made up very unlikely scenario that if my cat and my girlfriend were hanging off a cliff I would probably explode because I would not be able to pick. Well she told me that she was more important than my cat. Then I told her: "Well I have more memories with my cat than with you. But you are a human, so it would be difficult to choose." This pissed her off and now she is mad at me. Any thoughts?

Edit: Dude. I SPECIFICALLY wrote that I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO PICK! Not that I would pick my cat. Plus, its okay between us now. I apologized.
