Asa extinction question

Hi y’all,

I am playing on extionction for two weeks now and finally killed a dreadmare (for the first time). I noticed the altar asks for alpha dino drops. I have never encounterd an alpha dino on extinction. Do they even spawn? I am using the shiny mod in my game, but as far as i could find this mod does not have any impact on alpha dino spawns.

Am i just unlucky? Or do alpha dinos not spawn on extinction?
