DIA/CIA/NSA Pd question

I know this is an 1811 forum but was hoping someone could shed some light (or point me to a previous thread I missed). I'm in the hiring process with a few different 1801 and 0083 postings, but the end goal is to get into an intelligence agency (not necessarily in an 1811 role). Does anyone know the likelihood of getting on with an agency as a 0083 and climbing into a CI or Analyst role down the road? Biggest hangup I have at the moment is a lack of a degree, so esentially get the degree while working for an agency then try to a more traditional intelligence role. Thanks for any help.
