2013 pathfinder tranny slipping

My wife’s 2013 with 127k has been stuttering at lower speeds for a while and we thought it was something else

Took it in and they said the CVT was slipping and it needed a new one. We don’t have the money right now so I was wondering since I’ve been driving it for a while with that issue if I can get by for a while?

Of course they say it’ll die any day but it’s been this way a while
