Unpopular Opinion: Isaiah Stewart is a danger to the league

I’m going to set aside my opinions on his aggression during game play, and only focus on non-basketball and off-court aggression.

11/21/21 - Though I believe LeBron was in the wrong for the initial injury, the reaction from Stewart was off the chart. I hadn’t seen that level of aggression since the Malice in the Palace.

2/14/24 - Arrested, after punching opponent Drew Eubanks before a game, due to a dispute that has never been fully revealed. The only thing I could gather from the reports is that he has a problem keeping his hands to himself.

1/29/25 - Flagrant 2 for shoving Thomas Bryant while away from the ball.

3/8/25 - Gets up from the bench to push Steph Curry because he wasn’t a fan of his showboating, resulting in a small altercation before it was broken up.

From a quick browse of the Detroit Pistons subreddit, they seem to believe that he gets a bad rap. I fail to see how they come to this conclusion. I know he’s there guy but that’s some serious cognitive dissonance. He continuously proves that he flies off the handle at the slightest provocation.

I expect his behavior to only escalate, until someone is seriously hurt, and that includes his teammates, and team personnel.
