Compared to other countries, do you think it's more common to have issues with your parents in the UK - why is that?

It's something I noticed fairly recently - none of my circle really get on with each parent. I have some friends from other countries and family problems seem almost non existent (but maybe other cultures don't speak as openly about it). Why do you think it's like this in th UK?

For context, maybe I'm biased as my own is so strained. My Dad lives with my mother and Brother (40M) yet kicked me out as a teenager for absolutely no reason and hasnt spoken to me in 20 years. Yet my brother and mother seem to have no issue with it and speak to him and I separately. So weird.
